Five Rules To Managing Your Day as a Work At Home Mom

If you work in your home, you know how hard it can be to stay on track and not get distracted by domestic “to-do” list.

Here is the RULE Simple 5 to follow when you work from home.

# 1: Give Yourself Attention FIRST. It only took 10 minutes for tea, quiet time or meditation. It really helps to clear your mind and help you focus for the day.

Step 2: get dressed. I made a mistake early on, I worked at PJ’s. My finding that my attitude changed after I actually showered and put on “non-worn” clothing.

Step 3: Stay on schedule. This is the most difficult. It’s easy to get up from your desk to throw in the laundry or clean the kitchen, etc. The key for me is to pretend that my office is miles away from home. Then, I could break away from the mother stays at home / work at home mom. I have time for lunch on my calendar, the time for my son when he came home from school, and time to shutdown. By the way, I even schedule time to wash!

Step 4: Exit when the stop time. The easiest way to lose your balance in your work / home life, is to ignore the structures that you set for yourself. If you are scheduled to end your day at 5:00 pm, then end the day at 5:00. Go and shut the office door. Turn off the phone ringing your office and never look back! You are the biggest mistakes you can do is to become “open” all the time. Since the beginning of the address.

Step 5: Detox every day. Give yourself, your family you ALL at the end of each day. Stop being a working mother and being a mother / wife. Fully present when you are finished with the job.
